Bangladesh Freight Forwarders Association (BAFFA) is the single national trade organization of freight forwarders in Bangladesh. Exporter can communicate with any freight forwarder who is authorized by Customs, Bangladesh and is a member of BAFFA. Exporter may collect list of authorized members of BAFFA from the following website http://www.baffa-bd.org/members.php and communicate directly through phone call, SMS or email. The exporter has to contact the freight forwarder at least 24 hours before the goods are ready for shipment. The exporter may have a contract with the freight forwarding agent verbally or just by sending an email as work order. The required documents for this step would be collected by the freight forwarder from the C&F agent. The name and contact number of the C&F agent are mentioned in the Authorization Letter.
